We are currently accepting applications for Kindergarten and First Grade (K–1). If you are looking to enroll your child in a charter school near you, our admissions process is designed to be simple, transparent, and family-friendly.
Enrollment Steps
Getting started is easy. Follow these steps to begin your child’s journey at Diamond Charter School:
Submit an Application
Complete the admissions application with your child’s basic information.
Provide Required Documents
Submit necessary documents such as proof of age, residency, and any school records (if applicable).
Application Review
Our team will review your application and notify you of the next steps.
Enrollment Confirmation
Once accepted, you will receive confirmation along with additional details to prepare for the school year.
Seats are limited – apply early to secure your child’s spot.
School Hours & Attendance Expectations
Consistency and attendance are essential for student success.
School Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:10 PM
Students should arrive by 8:00 AM
Arrival after 8:15 AM is considered late
Dismissal for all students is at 3:10 PM
Regular attendance supports strong academic performance and helps students stay engaged in their learning journey.
If your child is absent, parents must notify the school as soon as possible. Absences of three or more consecutive days should be supported with a doctor’s note.
Parent Responsibilities
At Diamond Charter School, we believe that education is a partnership between the school and families. Parents and guardians play a vital role in supporting student success.
Attendance & Communication
- Ensure your child arrives on time each day
- Notify the school of absences promptly
- Maintain communication with teachers and staff
Pick-Up & Safety
- Students are dismissed at 3:10 PM
- Late pickup after 3:25 PM may result in additional procedures
- Only authorized individuals listed on the emergency card may pick up students
Early Pick-Up
- Parents must notify both the main office and teacher in advance
- Early pick-up must be completed before 2:45 PM
Student Preparedness
- Ensure your child comes to school ready to learn
- Follow dress code and school guidelines
- Support completion of assignments and participation in school activities
